Abstract

Porokeratosis of Mibelli with huge injuries: case report

Porokeratosis of Mibelli is a chronic, progressive and rare genodermatosis disceratosica, that has the risk to become a malignant tumor. Its transmission is mainly autosomal and the pathogenesis is still unknown. The clinic case shows a patient with 78 years, 75 years of those with evolving Porokeratosis of Mibelli, huge injuries, and familiar historic of genodermatosis. The injuries from the Porokeratosis of Mibelli are asymptomatic and generally found in the ends of the body, preferably in the back of the hand or feet. The injuries can increase or diminish spontaneously and lead to scars a little atrophic. The diagnosis is clinical-histological, and it is represented by a choroid lamella in the histological. The Porokeratosis of Mibelli may be treated to avoid the transformation into squamous cells, Bowen disease or basal cell carcinoma.
